Foster Family Horton/Hiawatha Community Investment Scholarship

Ray and Leita Foster moved to Horton in 1955. Both Ray and Leita gave a lot to the community through their volunteer work, and this $1500 scholarship will continue their legacy of investing in the Horton and Hiawatha communities. This scholarship is open to all Horton and Hiawatha High School graduates who seek additional education either through a traditional college degree or through vocational training at an accredited institution.  

Scholarship qualifications:  

<ul>  
<li>orton or Hiawatha Kansas High School graduate</li>

<li>GPA which demonstrates reasonable expectation of success in career field</li>  

<li>Enrolled in an accredited two-year or four-year college or university, or vocational trade school for the upcoming fall semester.</li> 
</ul>
