Raymond T. Foster Family Jackson County Scholarship for Medical Excellence

Ray Foster received such excellent medical care in the Holton community that he decided to fund a scholarship for students pursuing a career in the medical field. This $1500 scholarship is open to all Jackson County Kansas high school graduates who want a career in the medical field including nurses, doctors, physical therapists, etc. A single student will be selected from the submissions of the three Jackson county schools for this scholarship.

Scholarship qualifications:

• Jackson County Kansas high school graduate
• GPA which demonstrates reasonable expectation of success in career field
• Enrolled in an accredited two-year or four-year college or university, or vocational trade school for the upcoming fall semester.

Apply by filling out the application for the appropriate school:

• Jackson Height Students
• Holton Students
• Royal Valley Students

Applications should be submitted no later than midnight on Saturday, April 25 2026.
